How to obtain a Gemini API key
When using GUIEYE PaperAssist, AnRealTwin-001 ReferenceManager (ART-1)
Here's how to obtain a Gemini API key:
① Access Google AI Studio
(Please use Google Chrome logged in with your Google account.)
② Click "Get API key" in the lower left corner of the screen.
③ To create a new key, click "Create Get Key" in the upper right corner of the screen.
④ Click "Select a Cloud Project" and then select "+ Create Project". (Give it a name of your choice.)
⑤ Clicking "Create Key" will display the created project on the screen.
Gemini-pro models may not be available in the free tier. For security reasons, we recommend using a paid tier.
⑥ You can copy the API key using the red arrow button on the top screen. Please paste it into the Gemini API key window within the app.
You can check your usage status in the window that opens when you click the "Gemini API key" button in the app. You can see which models are available within the free tier, to what extent, and when they will be reset.
