AI-based Guiding Catheter Simulation System

Cardiac CT, which is frequently performed to diagnose lesions before percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) , contains important information for selecting a guiding catheter.

By using artificial intelligence (AI) to measure geometric information around the coronary arteries, the optimal guiding catheter can be selected.

We will provide advice on the coaxiality of the guiding catheter and the necessity for side holes .
We will provide advice on the coaxiality of the guiding catheter and the necessity for side holes .

Identify each cusp of the sinus of Valsalva, calculate the angle of the coronary artery ostium from the border of the right and left cusps,
This allows the dorsal origin of the left coronary artery, the anterior origin of the right coronary artery, and the left coronary apex origin to be identified .

We predict difficulties in guiding catheter engagement due to abnormal coronary artery origins and propose solutions .
